FAIRBANKS — The Alaska Nanooks hockey program will host its Edgeboss Elite Pre-Tryout Camp from July 23-26 at the Patty Ice Arena. The camp, open to boys and girls ages 9-16, will run from 8:00-9:45 a.m. each day and include two 45-minute sessions.
Skaters will utilize new Edgeboss training tools used by NHL and Division I teams, including the Alaska Nanooks. Participants can register for the camp here. Registration is due by Monday, July 22 at 8:59 AKST.

Cost: $316.50 ($300 + $16.50 Fee)
Details:
- Two 45-minute on-ice training sessions daily with Alaska Hockey coaching staff and players.
- First 45 minutes will be skill development with Edge Boss, Second session will be elite small area skill games designed to improve hockey sense and goal scoring ability.
- Develop skills and fundamentals under the supervision of current and past Alaska Nanook players and coaches.
- Improve: skating, puck handling, goal scoring, passing, confidence.
- Use new state of the art Edgeboss apparatuses designed to improve puck control. These are the same techniques NHL teams use, along with the Alaska Nanooks to get ready for the upcoming season.
What To Bring:
- Full hockey gear (sticks, helmets, shoulder pads, elbow pads, pants, shin pads, skates, gloves, mouthguard, socks, under gear apparel)
- Water bottle
- A positive attitude!

- All campers must have a parent/guardian and their contact information listed in case of emergency.
