Last Time Out
The Nanooks played just one game last week as they traveled to Saint Martin's in Lacey, Wash. on Saturday, Feb. 24. The 'Nooks grabbed a forfeit victory over Western Oregon on Thursday, Feb. 22 but then fell to the Saints on feb. 24, 71-61. In the loss,
Emma Wass posted a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Ellen Silva also added a dozen points and six boards while
Anna Nevison had 11 points.

- The Nanooks are led by Kayla Johnson. The sophomore is averaging 10.5 points per game while shooting 45.6% from the floor on 108 made field goals. Both are team-highs.
- Emma McKenney follows with 10.4 points per game, shooting 34.4% from the floor and 31.9% from three. McKenney's 85.2% free-throw shooting is a team-high and 36th in the nation and fourth in the GNAC.
- Emma Wass is posting nine-plus points and rebounds this season. She is grabbing 9.3 rebounds and scoring 9.1 points per game this year. Her rebounds totals are high in the nation and conference.
- Her 228 total rebounds is fourth in the conference and 52nd in the NCAA Division II. Her 9.1 rebounds per game leads the conference and is 42nd in the nation. She is grabbing the 13th-most defensive rebounds in the country with 7.4.
- Ellen Silva joins her as a top-rebounder on the team. Silva has 196 total boards, good for seventh in the GNAC.

Regional/National Rankings
The first NCAA Regional rankings came out on Feb. 25; Montana State Billings came in at No. 2 while Western Washington followed right behind at No. 3. Alaska Anchorage and Central Washington were the final two GNAC schools to appear. UAA was No. 9 and CWU was No. 10. MSUB and WWU were the only two teams to make a national appearance in the D2CSC and WBCA polls. The Yellow Jackets are No. 15 in the D2CSC Poll and No. 9 in the WBCA Poll. In the D2CSC, the Vikings are No. 23 and in the WBCA, No. 15.

Pink Game
Thursday's game against MSUB will be the annual Pink Game, come out, wear pink and support the battle against breast cancer.
Senior Day
The Nanooks will recognize three seniors on Saturday, March 2 against Seattle Pacific.
