Trails to Call Home
For the first time in over 40 years, the Nanooks will host races on campus and for the first time ever, the Nanooks will have true competition trails to call home after the Usibelli Coal Mine donated $300,000 last March for the new development. The new world-class UAF Competition Trails offers a 1.25k sprint loop with another 1.25k loop add-on, providing a 2.5k course for both competitive and recreational skiing in the Fairbanks community. The 'Nooks have been training on these trails since the snow has claimed it's stay, and if there is anything for certain, it's that you won't want to miss seeing these athletes compete with their newfound home-trail advantage!
