Tori Shoemaker to Represent Alaska at CSCAA College National Open Water Championship

BISCAYNE BAY, Fla. - Alaska swimming's Tori Shoemaker is set to participate in the CSCAA College National Open Water Championship on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 6 a.m. AKT, hosted by Florida International University.

Shoemaker qualified by posting a time of 17:24.23 at the Logger Invitational on Nov. 25. 

Participation is limited to current NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA member institutions who meet the specific event qualifying criteria. All student-athletes must be eligible as certified by their member institution. Athletes must have achieved qualifying times between Jan. 1, 2024, and the entry deadline.

Awards shall be given to all first through eighth-place finishers in each individual event. Individual champions shall be determined and awarded in women's and men's competitions, and an individual male and female champion will be declared for each division. The top five finishers for each gender earn invites to the USA Swimming 5K Open Water Championships.
