FAIRBANKS - Nanooks hockey is back! The 'Nooks open up their 2023-24 campaign with their annual Blue/Gold scrimmages, this weekend at the Patty Ice Arena!

Last Time Out
The 'Nooks will hit the ice in front of fans for the first time since their 2022-23 season came to an end at the Carlson Center on March 4, 2023. They finished their historic season with a sweep of Lindenwood on Mar. 3-4 to end 22-23 with a 22-10-2 record, matching their most wins since the 2001-02 season. 

Skate with the 'Nooks
Fans are invited to bring their skates from home and hop on the ice with the Nanooks players after Saturday's Blue/Gold game as the Face-Off Club hosts the first Skate with the 'Nooks of the season! 

Player Meet and Greet
The Nanooks will be at Tuffy's on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 3:30 p.m. for a Meet the Players event before night two of the Blue/Gold weekend. Snacks will be provided and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. Come out and meet the coaches and players of your favorite hockey team! 

This Weekend
The Nanooks Blue/Gold weekend will start at 7:00 p.m. Friday night with a 3v3 tournament. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with warmups beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday will feature two 25-minute running clock periods to determine the 2023 Blue/Gold winner! Doors will also open at 6:00 p.m. for Saturday's matchup.
