MIDWAY, Utah – The Nanooks Nordic ski team had five Nanooks race on day two of the U.S. Nationals. Only four of the five completed their race.Â

Lukash Platil raced in the senior men's 30k freestyle, earning a 32
nd-place finish with a time of 1:22:34.3. He earned 174.65 race points and finished 9:09.5 behind the winner from the APU Nordic Ski Center.
Max Beiergrohslein raced in the junior men's race, however did not finish.Â

The final racers the Nanooks sent out on their day off from the Utah Invitational were
Aila Berrigan,
Rosie Fordham and
Kendall Kramer. The three raced in the junior women's 7.5k. Kramer earned the top-spot out of the three, taking home seventh-place with a time of 20:52.7, earning 40.24 race points. She finished 35.0 seconds behind the winner, Kate Oldham out of Middlebury College. Fordham joined Kramer in the top-10, finishing 10
th with a time of 21:17.0, finishing 59.3 seconds behind Oldham and earning 68.18 race points.Â

Finally, Berrigan finished 46
th with a time of 23:20.9, finishing 3:03.2 behind the winner and taking home 210.63 race points.

The Nanooks return to RMISA action Thursday, Jan. 6.
