Alaska Nordic Ski Heads to Midway, Utah Before NCAA Regionals

MIDWAY, Utah – The Alaska Nanooks Nordic ski team has arrived in Midway, Utah for their second race of the season. After flying into Utah on Feb. 14 to acclimate to the altitude, the 'Nooks are ready to go at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center.

Last Time Out
The Alaska Nanooks Nordic ski team are coming off of a month long break following their first trip to Midway, Utah on Jan. 16-18. This will be the second time this season the 'Nooks have raced at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center. They will participate in the NCAA Regionals later next week at Soldier Hollow as well.
 
Following NCAA Regionals next week, the 'Nooks will find out who is qualified for the NCAA Skiing Championships in New Hampshire next month.
 
Meet the Team
The Nanooks sent 10 athletes to Utah for the long road trip. Mariel Pulles, Kendall Kramer, Catherine Reed-Metayer, Rya Berrigan, Sage Robine, Mike Ophoff, Christopher Kalev, Logan Mowry and Patrick Marbacher
