In the 10k, he finished with a time of 24:16.1 … Following Westminster, he competed in the RMISA Nordic Qualifier, racing in the Classic Sprints finishing 20th … At the Utah Invitational, he captured two top-20 finishes in the 7.5k Freestyle and the 10k Classic. Completing the 7.5k in 16th in a time of 19:53.6. He finished 20th in the 10k with a time of 47:28.0 … He completed the 7.5k Freestyle and 20k classic in the Colorado Invitational, finishing in 11th and ninth places. In the 7.5k, he completed the race in 20:29.5 and 1:01:00.0 in the 20k … In the RMISA Championships he raced in 7.5k finishing in 20th with a time of 19:29.3. He also raced in the 20k Classical, taking sixth place with a time of 56:48.8 … To finish the season, he competed in two races at the NCAA Championships, the 7.5k Freestyle and 20k Classic. Appeared in 12 races for the Nanooks in his senior season … Opening the season at the RMISA Nordic Qualifiers Kalev raced in the 10k Freestyle and the Classic Sprints … He took ninth place in the 10k Freestyle with a time of 26:01.4. He took fourth-place in the Classic Sprints … His next appearance was at the Colorado Invitational, racing in both the 20k Classic and the 10k Freestyle. In the 20k, he finished in sixth place with a time of 1:01:34.5. In the 10k Freestyle, he took 15th place with a time of 28:02.1 … At the Denver Invitational, Kalev raced in the 5k Freestyle and the 10k Classic, finishing in 12th and 11th respectively with times of 15:13.4 and 33:02.2 … In the Alaska Anchorage Invitational, he raced in the Freestyle Sprints and the 10k Classic, finishing in 14th and third, reaching the podium in the 10k with a time of 26:46.3 … In his second to last event of the season, he raced in the 10k Freestyle and the 20k Classic at the RMISA Championships. Appeared in 10 events for the Nanooks in his junior season … His season started at Utah Invitational with a Men’s Freestyle Sprint … He followed that up with an appearance at the Montana State Invitational, placing 19th in both the 10k Freestyle and 15k Classic times of 28:52.4 and 39:54.6 … At the UAF Nanook Invitational he placed eighth in the Men’s 5k Classic with a time of 13:48.8, his best 5k time of the season … He also raced in the 10k Freestyle at the UAF Nanook Invitational, finishing in 15th, with a time of 41:43.6 … At the RMISA he took 19th in the 10k Freestyle with a time of 27:54.6 … At the RMISA Invitational he took 19th in the 10k with a time of 27:54.6 … At the RMISA Championships he raced in the 10k Classic and the 20k Freestyle, he finished in ninth-place and 14th-place, respectively, finishing with times of 29:11.6 and 54:31.6 … Kalev finished his campaign at the NCAA Championships racing in the 10k Classic and 20k Freestyle, finishing in fourth and 13th respectively … His 10k time of 24:08.3 was his best of the season by nearly four minutes. Appeared in eight events for the Nanooks ... Kalev had two top-10 finishes in 2020-21 ... In his first event of the year, Kalev raced to a 21st-place finish at the RMISA Invitational at Utah ... In the 10km freestyle he raced to a 23:11.5 time, his best of the year ... In the 20km classical at the same Invitational he finished 18th with a time of 57:20.3 ... He raced again at the SoHo RMISA Invitational ... In a 10km classic and 15km freestyle he took 12th and 11th with times of 26:56.4 and 36:34.8 ... His two top-10 finishes came at the 2021 RMISA Championships ... In the 10km classic he took 10th with a time of 26:18.4 while in the 20km freestyle he took eighth-place with a time of 51:44.5 ... At the 2021 NCAA Championships, Kalev took 14th in both the 5km classic and 20km freestyle ... In the classic he raced to a time of 27:33.2 while in the freestyle he raced to a season-best time of 50:23.3
2019-20 | Freshman
Appeared in 11 events for the Nanooks ... Kalev tallied 136.33 and 210.68 at the Colorado Invitational, placing 29th and 27th in the 10km skate and 20km classic mass start ... At the Denver Invitational he finished 23rd and 28th in a 10km classic and 10km skate pursuit ... In those races he finished with 148.44 and 166.47 points respectively ... Gained 129.7 points in the 10km skate on day one of the Utah Invitational ... Also picked up 111.8 points on day two in the 10km classic mass start, finshing 19th overall ... Ended his season at the RMISA Championships with 119.5 and 144.53 points in a 10km skate and 20km classic mass start.
