Last Time Out
The Nanooks managed to hold a 2020-21 season through the COVID-19 Pandemic. They traveled to Westmont on March 26-27 where they grabbed two wins before falling in a head-to-head to Loyola Marymount. The Nanooks ended their season 2-1, winning their first head-to-head meet since Jan. 25, 2019 during the 2018-19 season. They ended their 20-21 season at the 2021 PCSC Championships, earning seventh-place with 512 total points.
Season Ahead
With the Nanooks starting their season, they will host a total of six home-events for the 2021-22 season. Following this weekend, Oct. 15-16, the Nanooks will then head to Westmont College on Oct. 29-30 for a weekend in Santa Barbara, Calif. Following their trip, the Nanooks will return home for three weeks before heading to the La Verne Invite from Nov. 19-21 in Los Angeles, Calif. This will end the 'Nooks 2021 portion of the schedule. Following holiday break and the new year, Alaska will welcome the University of the Incarnate Word to town on Jan. 14-15. They will then wrap-up their regular-season with another home-meet against Loyola Marymount on Jan. 28-29.
The 2022 PCSC Championships will be held in Saint George, Utah from Feb. 16-19.
Spectator Policy
The Alaska Nanooks swim team and athletic department want to remind all spectators that they are NOT ALLOWED on the lower pool deck. All spectators must view from the upper deck, entrance by the main ticketing office. Masks are also required for all in attendance.
