FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) announced the results of the 2020-21 WCHA Preseason Poll and Awards. While no Nanooks were selected to the All-WCHA Preseason team,
Chris Jandric was close, receiving two votes towards the All-WCHA Team.
The Nanooks finished seventh in the WCHA Media Poll with 40 points, just seven above Ferris State and trailing Lake Superior State by four.

Jandric, a junior blue-liner, finished third on the 'Nooks squad in 2019-20 in points with 22. He tallied five goals while assisting on 17 others. Through his first two seasons in Fairbanks, the Prince George-native has picked up 37 career points, scoring eight goals and grabbing 29 assists.
The Nanooks are scheduled to begin their 2020-21 campaign with a pair of non-conference games against in-state rival, Alaska Anchorage on Friday, Dec. 4.
