RESULTS
Annville, Penn. – The Nanooks wrapped up their time on the road with a tri-match against Georgia Southern and North Georgia yesterday at the Palmyra Sportsmen's Association. The Nanooks took the victory, firing a 4620 against North Georgia's 4547 and Georgia Southern's 4475.
All six Nanooks placed in the top ten. Sophomore,
Kellen McAferty led the competition with an individual aggregate of 1169. Junior,
Haley Castillo fired a total of 1157, placing second overall. Sophomore,
Jessica Boyce (1153) and Freshman,
Cassidy Wilson (1145) placed fourth and fifth respectively.
In the smallbore competition, the Nanooks placed first with a 2294. North Georgia placed second with 2257 and Georgia Southern placed third with a 2201.
McAferty claimed the top spot in the smallbore competition by eleven points with a 585. Boyce placed second with a 574 and senior,
Amy Gentry fired a 569, placing fifth in the smallbore competition.
The Nanooks fired a 2326 in the air rifle competition, taking the victory over North Georgia's 2290 and Georgia Southern's 2274.
Castillo lead the air rifle competition, firing a 591. Wilson (585), McAferty (584), and Boyce (579) claimed spots three through five.

Layne Lewis commented, "This win marks the end of a very long road trip. We are looking for to getting back to Fairbanks and to our regular training schedule. This way we can build off what we have learned from this trip and finish our season strong"
The Nanooks are back in action at on Febuary 14 against the Air Force Falcons in Ft. Worth, Texas.
