2018-19 Review
The Nanooks hockey team is coming off of a 12-21-3 season in 2018-19. While the start of the season led to a 0-7-2 record, the Nanooks rebounded strong to claim a 12-14-2 conference record and end the regular season with three straight wins, two of which came against Anchorage to help claim the Governors' Cup.
Where to Watch & Listen
The Blue vs. Gold game will be the only free to view game of the year. Those of you who are unable to join us at the Patty Center Ice Arena can watch along online via the 'Live Stats' and 'Live Stream' links provided above. This game will be shown on the Alaska Stretch Portal system, however, the rest of the season, games will be shown on FloHockey.tv and you will have to purchase single-game or full-season passes to view. KSUA 91.5 FM will be calling the game as well and you can find their live online broadcast at ksuaradio.com.
Be A Coach
You have until Thursday, Sept. 26 to put in a bid and be a guest coach for this weekends Blue vs. Gold game! Check out the Face Off Club's Facebook page for more information on where to place your bid and who to contact to place a bid over the phone.
Weekend Special
This weekend, a beer garden (21+) will be open in the Patty Center Ice Arena during the game. We ask that you be responsible in this area while watching the game.
Alongside the beer garden, we will have a quick presentation by Representative Adam Wool. Wool will present a citation to the University and hockey team as well as drop the ceremonial puck to begin the night.
The doors will open at the Patty Center Ice Arena at 6 p.m. AKST so get here early to get in and grab your seats! There will be skills competitions and plenty of give away possibilities throughout the night!

Erik Largen is excited for the Blue vs. Gold game; he sees it as an opportunity for players to make some final impressions before the season opener on Oct. 5, "We are excited to get the season going with our annual Blue vs. Gold game. The team is excited to be able to compete in front our great fans. There are minutes and opportunites to be earned and we are looking forward to a fun, competitive evening. This will serve us well in our evaluations to make the best lineup decisions possible for Denver.
