FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The Alaska Nanooks Department of Athletics will be hosting a Patty Center Renovation Unveiling on Friday, May 24 from 12-1pm AKT on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The event will allow guests to see the renovations that were made to the downstairs of the Patty Center throughout the past year. The renovations include a new varsity weight room and new team locker rooms for men's and women's cross country running/Nordic ski, men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball.

Coaches, student-athletes and athletics administrative staff will be on hand to guide guests through the renovations and answer questions.

Beginning at 12pm, Alaska Nanooks Director of Athletics Sterling Steward and UAF Provost Dr. Anupma Prakash will be making brief remarks in acknowledgement of the many donors that made a large portion of the renovations possible.

There will be light appetizers and refreshments available, courtesy of College Town Pizza and the Odom Corporation.
