FAIRBANKS, Alaska – On Friday, the founding members of the Fairbanks Hockey Classic presented the Face-Off Club with a $10,000 donation that will directly benefit the Alaska Nanooks hockey team.

The second annual Fairbanks Hockey Classic was a two-day three-on-three hockey tournament April 5-6, put on and ran entirely by volunteers. The event featured more than 200 hockey players of all ages playing in six different leagues (8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 18U, adult), with all the proceeds benefitting the Alaska Nanooks hockey team.
