FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The Alaska Nanooks men's basketball team dropped a hard-fought Great Northwest Athletic Conference contest on Thursday night, falling 86-68 to the Saint Martin's Saints at the Alaska Airlines Court. The loss drops Alaska's overall record to 5-15 and 2-11 in GNAC play, while the Saints improve to 18-3 on the season and 11-2 in league matchups.
Inside the Box Score
- The Nooks held Saint Martin's to 33-37 in the first half but the visitors pulled away in the second, outscoring Alaska 49-35 in the final 20 minutes to seal the victory.
- Alaska shot 50 percent from the floor (24-for-48), 39.1 percent from outside (9-for-23) and 61.1 percent from the free throw line (11-for-18).
- The Nooks pulled down five offensive and 22 defensive boards to total 27 on Thursday but the Saints responded by collecting 35 rebounds on the night, including 12 offensive and 23 defensive.
- Alaska tallied 16 assists against SMU, while also picking up five steals and three blocks.

- Junior forward Spencer Sweet led Alaska's offense on Thursday, shooting 8-for-13 from the floor, 4-for-8 from beyond the arc and 5-for-6 from the free throw line for a team-high 25 points.
- Junior forward Michael Kluting picked up a double-double on Thursday, registering 10 points and game-high 10 rebounds against the Saints.
- Kluting shot 4-for-8 from the floor before connecting on 2-of-4 free throw shots.
- Junior guard Tymoryae Glover shot 6-for-13 from the field, 3-for-6 from three-point range and 2-for-2 from the free throw line for 17 points, while also adding three rebounds, two assists and one block.
- Senior guard Isaiah Easaw posted a career-best and game-high eight assists, while also boasting a game-high 38 minutes on the floor.
