SEATTLE, Wash. – The Seattle Pacific Falcons edged the Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference contest at the Brougham Pavilion in Seattle on Saturday afternoon, falling 67-60. The loss drops Alaska's overall record to 4-20 and 1-17 in GNAC play, while the Falcons improve to 8-17 on the season and 7-11 in conference contests.

- The Nanooks shot 35.3 percent from the floor (24-for-68), 20.8 percent from outside (5-for-24) and 53.8 percent from the free throw line (7-for-13).
- Alaska picked up a whopping 45 rebounds on the day, pulling down 18 offensive and 27 defensive boards.
- The Nooks also chipped in nine assists, six steals and two blocks.
- Alaska only outscored their opponent in the fourth quarter on Saturday, 18-14.

- Senior forward Ashlie Blackburn led the Nanooks in scoring on Saturday, connecting on 7-of-10 shots from the field and 2-for-4 from the free throw line.
- Blackburn also added three rebounds, three steals, one block and one steal.
- Junior guard Kylie Wallace picked up 12 points against the Falcons, shooting 5-for-13 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free throw line.
- Redshirt-junior guard Sabrina Ungaro was the only other Alaska player to score double-digit figures on Saturday, shooting 4-for-10 from the floor, including 2-for-3 from outside to post 10 points.
- Senior forward Marian Wamsley tied for a game-high 11 rebounds to lead her teammates.

The Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team will be back at the Alaska Airlines Court for their final two games of the 2018-19 season next week, hosting the Central Washington Wildcats on Thursday, Feb. 28 before taking on the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks on Saturday, Mar. 2. Tip-off on Thursday is set for 7pm AKST, while Saturday is slated for 1pm AKST.
