Bellingham, Washington – The Alaska Nanooks lost 36-66 to the Western Washington Vikings Saturday in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play in the Carver Gym. The loss drops the Nooks to 3-15 overall and 0-12 in conference, while the Vikings improve to 11-9 overall and 6-6 in conference play.

The Nooks grabbed 10 offensive and 24 defensive rebounds for a total of 34 rebounds.

The Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team will return home to face in-state rival Alaska Anchorage on the Alaska Airlines Court on Tuesday Feb. 5 at the Patty Center Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm AKST.
Then travel to Billings, Montana on Thursday Feb. 7 to play Montana State Billings at 5pm AKST in the Alterowitz Gymnasium.
