ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Alaska Nanooks men's basketball team suffered a 84-65 loss on the road on Thursday night, falling to Central Washington at the Nicholson Pavilion in Ellensburg, Washington. The loss drops Alaska's overall record to 5-17 and 2-13 in conference play, while Central Washington improves to 10-13 on the season and 4-11 in league matchups.

- The Nanooks shot 42.2 percent from the floor (27-for-64), 30.4 percent from outside (7-for-23) and 66.7 percent from the free throw line (4-for-6).
- Central Washington earned their win in free throws, connecting on 22-of-26 for a shooting percentage of 84.6 percent.
- The Nanooks pulled down 13 offensive and 19 defensive rebounds, totaling 32 boards on the night.
- Alaska also chipped in 16 assists, six steals and four blocks.
Alaska Leaders
- Junior guard Tymoryae Glover led Alaska's offense, shooting 7-for-19 from the floor, including 2-for-6 from outside to tally a team-best 16 points.
- Glover also pitched in three assists, two rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes on the court.
- Junior forward Michael Kluting posted the only double-double of the night, registering 15 points and a team-best 12 rebounds against the Wildcats.
- Junior guard Spencer Sweet was the only other Alaska player to score double-digits on Thursday, shooting 3-for-6 from the floor, 2-for-5 from beyond the arc and 2-for-2 from the free throw line.
- Senior guard Isaiah Easaw led all players on the court with seven assists.

The Alaska Nanooks men's basketball team will travel to Nampa, Idaho to take on the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks in a GNAC contest on Saturday, Feb. 16. Tip-off at the Johnson Sports Center is set for 5pm AKST.
