Last Time Out
The Nanooks are coming off of a tough road trip to Utah last weekend where they played Westminster and Dixie State. In game one, the 'Nooks fell to the host-team, Westminster Griffins 77-89. In game two, the Nanooks faced-off with the Dixie State Trail Blazers and fell 78-90. These two losses dropped the Alaska men's team to 1-5, 0-0 GNAC.

Northern Michigan Wildcats
The Wildcats enter this weekend's game with a 2-2 record with no conference games played. The Wildcats, a team from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have played Lewis, McKendree, Minnesota Duluth and Southwest Minnesota State, winning their first and last games played by a score of 76-63 over Lewis and 72-63 over Southwest Minnesota State 72-63.
Marcus Matelski is the team's leading scorer, averaging 11.3 points per game through their four games. In addition to 11.3 ppg, Matelski is shooting 53.6% from the field and 54.2% from three-point range.
Michigan Tech Huskies
The MTU Huskies also enter with a 2-2 record after winning their first two games against McKendree, 78-73 and against Lewis 63-54 before falling to Winona State and Minnesota Duluth. Michigan Tech is also a part of the GLIAC with NMU.
The Huskies are led on offense by Kyle Monroe, a senior forward who is averaging 21.8 points per game while shooting 40.5% from the field and 87.0% from the free-throw line.
