FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team hosts their final two home games of the season this week, as they take on a pair of Great Northwest Athletic Conference foes at the Alaska Airlines Court. The Nooks will compete against the Saint Martin's Saints on Thursday, Feb. 15 before taking on the Seattle Pacific Falcons on Saturday, Feb. 17. Both games will tip-off at 7pm AKST, with Saturday's game also acting as Senior Night.

Ticketing Promotions
For the entire month of February, the Alaska Nanooks Ticketing Office will be hosting a special for men's and women's basketball games where $10 will get any military family (no matter the size) in the door with the presentation of a valid military ID.
Last Time Out
Alaska continues to search for its first conference win of the season after dropping a 76-49 decision to Western Oregon on Thursday before taking a narrow 66-64 loss to Concordia on Saturday.
GNAC Standings
The Alaska Nanooks women's basketball team remains in 11th place in the conference standings with 0-14 record. Alaska is only two wins behind 10th place's Saint Martin's (2-14), Thursday's opponent. Alaska Anchorage (15-1), Northwest Nazarene (14-2) and Seattle Pacific (12-4) are the only three schools that have clinched a berth to the GNAC Championships.
All-Time Series
Against the Saints, Alaska trails the all-time series 20-22 with the first meeting coming as a 74-60 win on the road on Jan. 2, 1986. After a four-game winning streak against SMU, Alaska fell to the Saints earlier this season in a 66-61 loss on Jan. 20 in Lacey.
All-time against the Falcons, Alaska trails 18-56 with the first meeting between the two teams resulting in a 53-44 loss at home on Dec. 4, 1974. Alaska's last victory against SPU came last season (63-61) on Feb. 16, 2017 but Seattle Pacific defeated Alaska earlier this season with an 86-54 decision on Jan. 18 in Seattle.

Scouting the Opponent – Saint Martin's Saints (6-18, 2-14 GNAC)
Saint Martin's dropped a 79-51 decision to Western Washington on Thursday before falling to Simon Fraser on Saturday, 60-58. Sophomore forward Mercedes Victor paced the SMU offense with 14 points over the home swing. She compiled a team-high 16 points on Saturday, which followed a 12-point performance against the Vikings on Thursday. Saint Martin's is averaging 64.4 points per game and is limited opponents to 30.9 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
Scouting the Opponent – Seattle Pacific Falcons (18-5, 12-4 GNAC)
Seattle Pacific got back on track with a pair of home wins against teams in the mix for a GNAC Championships' berth. The Falcons handed Simon Fraser a 68-49 loss on Thursday before earning a 80-62 win over Western Washington on Saturday. The Falcons' defense clamped down Thursday night, limiting SFU to 29.3 percent shooting from the floor. Of Seattle Pacific's 68 points, 42 of them came in the paint. The Falcons lead the GNAC allowing 60.5 points per game while shooting 72.8 points per contest. Seattle Pacific also ranks third in the league with 10.1 steals per game.
