2017 Alaska Nanooks Scholarship Auction & Riverboat Cruise
Save the date! The Alaska Nanooks are hosting their second annual Scholarship Auction and Riverboat Cruise aboard the Discovery II on Friday, June 2 at 6pm AKT. Patrons will enjoy a cruise down the Chena River on the Riverboat Discovery, a live and silent auction, entertainment from DJ ATM Jose Martinez, heavy hors d'oeuvres and free beer and wine. All proceeds for the Scholarship Cruise will directly benefit the Alaska Nanooks student-athlete scholarship fund.

Tickets for the event are $100 per person with $25 of each ticket sold being automatically donated to the Alaska Nanooks student-athlete scholarship fund. Patrons can buy tickets over the phone through Ashley Holloway at the University of Alaska Foundation office at 907-474-2438 or online at the auction website.

Registration for Alaska Volleyball Summer Camps Now Open
Alaska volleyball head coach Brian Scott and assistant coach Robbie Berrett have officially opened registration for their 2017 summer camps held throughout the state of Alaska. Participants can compete in the Elementary Camp (5th and 6th graders only) July 13-15, Beginner Camp (7th through 9th graders) July 17-19, Intermediate Camp (7th through 9th graders) July 17-19 or the Advanced Camp (9th through 12th graders) July 20-22.

Furthermore, Scott and Berrett will be hosting camps for 9th through 12th graders at Kodiak High School July 24-26, Wasilla High School July 27-29 and South Anchorage High School July 31-August 2.

Nanook Basketball Camp
Alaska men's basketball assistant coach Bobby Howard will be hosting his third annual Nanook Basketball Camp from May 22-24 at the Alaska Airlines Court at the Patty Center. Camp will feature two sessions per day, with boys entering 4th through 8th grade from 9am to Noon, while high school-aged boys will go from 1pm to 4pm.
