The Alaska volleyball team lost its second consecutive game Saturday with a 0-3 (25-27, 17-25, 17-25) loss to Northwest Nazarene. The loss leaves the Nanooks with two matches to play—both at home.
Tereza Bendlova led the team with 12 kills and a .300 hitting percentage. Simone Chavous contributed eight more kills and Marybeth Wikander added five, but the team hit .080 as a whole.
Jennifer Holland led the defense with 11 digs. Bendlova and Allison Oddy followed with nine each.
The Nanooks close the season with home matches against Western Oregon (Nov. 11) and Saint Martin's (Nov. 13). The Saturday match against Saint Martin's is Senior Night, celebrating the careers of the team's two seniors, Bendlova and Erica Gage.
