Prior to Alaska: A three-year letterwinner for the Jaguars, she played in 100 out of 102 sets this season tallying 153 kills, 174 digs, 26 blocks and 22 aces... earned a spot on the 2008 Jaguar Classic All-Tournament team and was named to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List in 2008 and 2009... competed for two seasons with the Jaguars track and field program, specializing in javelin... selected to CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District IV 1st team in 2008 and 2009... Prior to competing for South Alabama, Bendlová attended Charles University in Prague... attended Gymnasium of Eliska Krarnohorska... played club volleyball for Sokol Nusle since she was 12 and captained the team for four years from ages 13-17, helping the team to the National Sokol title in 2004... her club finished third in 2007 in the First National League.

Personal: Graduated from South Alabama with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2010... pursuing a master’s degree in Northern Engineering.
