Ryan Lahr is in his fourth year with the Alaska Nanooks athletic department in 2024-25.
Since Lahr's arrival, he has overseen the movement to fully digital ticking in the Nanooks Box Office, working closely with ticket systems. He also oversees all Patty Center facilities and operations, overseeing countless upgrades and additions in all Patty Center areas.
Lahr joined the Nanooks in 2021-22 after earning his Master's in Business Administration from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, S.D. While attending BHSU, he was a Graduate Assistant through Athletic Operations and Event and Recreation Sports. He helped oversee all facets of facility management, including game day operations and event management operations for over 150 collegiate, youth/high school and community engagement events, annually. Prior to his Graduate Assistant position at BHSU, Lahr spent time at Minnesota State University, Mankato as an Athletic Operation Intern. At Mankato he fulfilled overall game-day operation and event management duties for 12 varsity sports and other athletic-sponsored events.
He successfully assisted in the preparation and execution of NCAA Division II and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference postseason events including men's football, women's soccer playoffs, NSIC indoor track and field championships and NSIC men's basketball playoffs.
Lahr also spent time as an Operation Intern for the Spearfish Sasquatch baseball team in the Expedition League.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Minnesota State, Mankato with a Business Minor in Economics.
Lahr's first day with the Nanooks was Monday, October 4, 2021.
