While at Seattle Prep, Tyler helped his team take third-place at the WIAA 3A State Tournament (Washington). He is a top-10 all-time scorer for Seattle Prep, holds the all-time record for free throw percentage in both a single-season and a career, was an All-League selection three of his four years and as a senior, was named Second Team All-State.
