Prior to Alaska: Julie was a five sport athlete at Lathrop High in Fairbanks, Alaska...Participated in basketball, cross country skiing, track and field, soccer and volleyball...in 2008, was named MVP of soccer team while recording 12 goals and being named to the all-conference team...recieved Distinguished Athlete of the Year Award her senior year in high school...2008 All-conference selection in volleyball.

Personal: Daughter of Alan Gilhuly and Shannon Kristeller... would like to pursue a career in physical therapy.
