Meagan Woods (Olsen during her time as a student-athlete) is entering her seventh season as the Nanooks assistant coach under head coach Brian Scott, her former coach. Woods was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska.
She attended West Valley High school and played volleyball for the Nanooks from 2012-2016. She played the libero position and finished her career in the top-10 for career-high digs and served as a team captain for two seasons. She also received awards for Scholar-Athlete and Team MVP during her time in the blue and gold.Â

After graduating from UAF with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, Woods spent one year as a volunteer assistant coach for the Nanooks before earning the assistant coach title.Â
