2008: Saw action in her first match on Nov. 1 against SMU and recorded 1 kill...earned Team Academic Honors.

2007: Redshirted as a freshman.

Prior to Alaska: She was a four year middle hitter and post player for the Nome Beltz High School Nanooks ...a member of the Far North All-Conference team and was a team captain in 2006...named the Nome Beltz Student Athlete of the Year (2006-07)...lived in Roseburg, Oregon for part of her high school career where she played with the Roseburg volleyball Club for two seasons.

Personal: Daughter of Brian Wassmann and Lynn Fricke...her parents are UAF athletics alumni as her dad played men[apos]s basketball (1989-90) and her mom played volleyball for the Nanooks...she is the oldest sibling of eight with five sisters and two brothers...majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
