Prior to Alaska: A five-sport athlete at Bow Valley High School; named Rockyview School Division's MVP her junior and senior seasons in volleybll and Rookie of the Year as a sophomore; helped her team go 7-0 all three seasons and served as their starting setter and named a captain as a senior; graduated valedictorian; played club for four different teams, most recently the Canada West Volleyball Club; named a Provincial All-Star in U15 and U17 by the Alberta Volleyball Association and was a member of the U14 team that won the National Championship.
