2012-13 as a Sophomore: Started off the season strong placing 3rd in the 10K Freestyle at the Nordic Cup...Had her career best sprint finish in the 1.3K classic at US Nationals, finishing 34th overall ranking second in the CCSA with a time of 03:40.8...Had a breakout weekend placing 1st in the CCSA and 9th overall in the 5K Freestyle with a time of 12:50 and placing 2nd in the CCSA on day two, 9th overall in the 15K Classic with a time of 48:25:00 at the Supertour...Named CCSA female skier of the week...Sprinted to first place in the 15K Freestyle with a time of 48:19:00 at the CCSA Championships...Named to the CCSA All-Conference Second Team...Claiming the individual region championship McPhetres placed first in both the 5K Classic event with a time of 17:38 and the 10K Freestyle with a time of 31:13:00 at the NCAA Central Region Championships, helping Alaska capture the Central Region Title...Qualified for NCAA Championships...Finishing her season at the NCAA Championships, McPhetres finished 30th in the 5K Classic with a time of 16:53 and 28th in the 10K Freestyle with a time of 41:11:00...Named Team's Most Valuable Player...Named to the Capital One Academic All-America Division II At-Large Third Team.

2011-12 as a Redshirt Freshman: Began the season competing at the US Nationals where she finished 65th in the 10K with a time of 29:17.20 and 32nd in the 20K with a time of 1:12:24.6...Helped the Nanooks earn a first place finish overall with a sixth place finish in the 4.7K with a time of 11:54.7...At the Wirth Super Tour in January, McPhetres finished 12th in the 10K with a time of 24:26...At the CCSA Championships she finished 21st in the 15K with a time of 1:00:46.4 as well competed on the 3 by 5K relay team that finished fourth...Finished out the season at the NCAA West Regional Championships earning an 18th place finish in the 5K with a time of 16:21.50 and a 16th place finish in the 10K with a time of 34:26.8.
