Cross Country

2011: Start the season strong at the Alaska Nanooks Cross Country Invitational where she placed fourth in the 6K with a time of 23:19.2 and fifth in the 4K with a time of 15:22.9 in September...In Hawaii at the UHH Invitational, Pitney finished fifth in the 5K with a time of 19:26 to help the Nanooks take first in the Invitational...At the GNAC Championships, she finished 14th overall in the 6K with a time of 23:02...was a member of the NCAA West Region Championship team where she finished 25th in the 6K with a time of 22:22...Finished the season racing at the NCAA Championships where Pitney led the Nanooks with a 52nd place finish in the 6K with a time of 22:58.9...Named to the GNAC Academic All-Conference team...Garned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.

2010: Pitney came to the Nanooks as a junior after transfering from Colorado State; at the Alaska Nanooks Cross Country Invitiational, she placed 9th in the 6K with a time of 24:32.9 and 10th in the 4K with a 16:26.9; at the Chaminade Invitational, Pitney finished 16th in the 5K with a time of 20:15.62; was a member of the GNAC Championship team, helping the Nanooks place 4th with her 32nd place finish in the 6K with a time of 24:01.30; named MVP along with her fellow GNAC team teammates at the conclusion of the season; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.

Nordic Skiing

2011-12: Starting off her season campaign at the US Nationals, Pitney finished 74th in the 10K with a time of 29:28.60 and 35th in the 20K with a time of 1:12:27.8 in January...At the Hilltop Invitational she finished in ninth place in the 4.7K with a time of 12:03.4 and seventh in the 1.4K Sprints to help the Nanooks to a first place finish...At the CCSA Championships, Pitney finished 15th in the 15K with a time of 59:51.9...At the NCAA West Regional Championships she raced to two top ten finishes with a 10th place finish in the 5K with a time of 15:55.30 and an eighth place finish in the 10K with a time of 33:12.4...Finished off the season qualifying for the NCAA Championships where she finished 39th in the 5K with a time of 17:14.8 and in the 15K  with a time of 1:06:49.4...Earned second team CCSA All-Conference Honors.

2010-11: Though a veteran to running, Pitney is a rookie when it comes to skiing and she made her debut this season; she started off her skiing career with a 19th place finish in the 6K Freestyle at the Nordic Cup with a 19:41.5 and a 12th place finish in the 6K Classic with a 18:27.5; at the US National Championships, Pitney finished 132nd in the 10K Classic with a 39:34.4 and finished 47th in the 20K Freestyle with a 1:00:25.3; at the CSSA Hilltop Invitational, Pitney came away with a pair of 13th places in the 5K Freestyle with a time of 19:30.3 and the 5K Classic with a time of 19:28.1; Pitney finished 23rd in the 5K Freestyle with a season best time of 16:19.9 at the Mayor's Challenge and 53rd in the 10K Classic SuperTour with a time of 35:55.0; Pitney finished out her first season a member of the CCSA Championship team, coming away with a 21st place in the 5K Freestyle with a time of 19:13.6 and a 34th place finish in the 15K Classic; was recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.

Prior to Alaska: 2-year member of Colorado State XC team; finished 23rd in the 4K with a 16:57.7 at the Wyoming Invitational; finished 10th in the 5K with a 19:52.6 at the CSU Classic; finished 62nd with a 22:34.26 at the Dellinger Invite; finished 46th in the 6K with a 23:36 at the Mountain West Championships; a native of Fairbanks, AK, Pitney lettered in three sports while attending West Valley HS; was the Region Cross Country Champion from 2004-08 and the Alaska State Cross Country Champion in 2005; named MVP of both her cross country and track teams; was part of Alaska team cross country champions from 2004-07 and track champions from 2004-06.
