Prior to Alaska: Transferred to Alaska after from Fort Hays State...Played in two games during her redshirt sophomore season...Played her first two collegiate seasons for Howard (TX) College...All-Western Junior College Athletic Conference First Team as a freshman after averaging 10.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game...Granted additional year of eligibility after suffering season-ending injury seven games into sophomore year at Howard...Named New Mexico State Player of the Year and nominated for McDonald's All-American Team after she led Pojoaque High School to perfect 31-0 record and state title as a senior...Twice named All-District and once to All-State team...Also threw shot put on state championship track and field team.
