Nordic Skiing:

2012-13 as a sophomore: Started off the season skiing a 33:25:00 10K at the Nordic Cup...Came in 4th among the Alaska Men 1.5K race with a time of 3.51.

2011-12 as a freshman: Mayo started off his collegiate skiing career with a 15th place finish in both the 15K Classic with a time of 16:40 and the 15k Freestyle with a time of 35:51.

Cross Country Running

2011 as a sophmore: Began the season finishing 23rd at the Alaska Nanook Cross Country Invitational in September with a time of 29:55.9 in the 8k also finished 22nd in the 4K with a time of 14:19.7...Finished off the season competing in the NCAA West Regional Championship with a time of 37:19 in the 10K...received GNAC Cross Country Academic All-Conference Honors. 

2010 as a freshman: Mayo's freshman season with the Nanooks started off a little rocky due to some NCAA compliance complications, causing him to run open-course in the first few meets; he finished 24th at the Alaska Nanook Cross Country Invitational in September with a time of 30:19.6 in the 8K; Mayo finished with a season best time of 37:36.9 in the 10K at the Western Washington University Cross Country Classic in October; was a member of the NCAA Division II West Regional Championship team, finishing with a time of 38:49.4 in the 10K; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.

Personal: Son of Eric Mayo and Susan Kerndt; currently majoring in biological sciences.
