Biography

2012-13 as a senior: Played six games...Named the 2012 Brice Alaska Goal Rush Most Valuable Player after backstopping the Nanooks to a pair of wins over Merrimack (3-2) and then-ranked No. 2 North Dakota (2-1)...Honored as CCHA Goaltender of the Week for the week of Oct. 22...Finished the season 2-3--0...Received Pumphouse Team Player Award...Ended his career 3-5--0.

2011-12 as a junior: Played  and started in three games...Registered a 2.92 goals against average and a .886 save percentage...Season-high 32 saves at Notre Dame on Nov. 12th...Recorded 62 saves  while playing in 164:2 minutes of the season.

2010-11 as a sophmore: Served his sophomore season as a backup goalie; recognized for Acadmic Honors by the Athletic Department.

2009-10 as a freshman: Played in two games; had college debut on Jan. 15 against Michigan with 19 saves and a .864 save percentage.

Prior to Alaska: USHLGoalie of the week Dec. 22nd and February 2nd; part of 2007 Interior Conference Championship team; had career best stats of 3.08 GAA and .908 save % in 2007-08.

Personal: Son of Amy and Kevin Thompson; currently majoring in Psychology.
