Tom Carroll enters his ninth season with the Alaska Nanooks Division I hockey program in 2026-27, overseeing all aspects of equipment operations to ensure the team is prepared for daily practices, travel and competition.

Carroll manages the procurement, maintenance and preparation of all hockey equipment, including sticks, skates, pucks, uniforms and practice gear. He oversees skate sharpening, stick inventory and equipment readiness while coordinating the design, ordering and distribution of team apparel and branded gear. His responsibilities also include inventory management, equipment logistics and ensuring student-athletes have the resources necessary to compete at the highest level of collegiate hockey.

During competition, Carroll serves on the Nanooks' bench, providing immediate equipment support, troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinating repairs or replacements to minimize disruptions during play. He works closely with the coaching staff and student-athletes to maintain equipment standards, streamline daily operations and support the program's competitive preparation throughout the season.
