2011-12 as a senior: Named team captain...Played in all 36 games for the Nanooks this season...Registered seven points, two goals and five assists...Recorded 21 blocks this season...First goal of the season was during the 5-2 win over Mercyhurst Oct. 14th...Finished collegiate career playing in 147 games, recording 14 goals and 22 assists for 36 points...At the conclusion of the season, received the Fan's Choice Award for the second straight year along with Rick Pitta Most Dedicated Player award and the Pump House Team Player award. 

2010-11 as a junior: Played in 35 games with the Nanooks this season; was 4th on the team in plus/minus with +5; first assist of the season was during the 3-2 win against Miami Nov. 13; first and only goal of the season was during the 5-2 win against Ohio State Nov. 27; finished the season with 1 goal and 7 assists; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department; received the Fan's Choice Award for his team at the conclusion of the season; received the Bart LeBon Humanitarian Award from the Athletic Department at the end of the year.

2009-10 as a sophmore: Played in all 38 games; had first assist of the season against Oct. 9; scored first goal of the season against Mercyhurst on Oct. 10; earned a goal in the Governor’s Cup series win; had 11 games with at least one point.

2008-09 as a freshman: Played in 37 games; CCHA Rookie of the Week Feb. 23; scored 2 game winning goals; scored first goal on Nov. 28 against LSSU; had 2 assists on Dec. 29 against WMU.

Prior to Alaska: Played for the Lloydminster Bobcats of the Alberta Junior Hockey League; awarded the Don McNabb Memorial Trophy as the League's Most Dedicated Player for the 2007-08 AJHL Season; led the Bobcats in scoring throughout the regular season with 33 goals and 62 points , averaging more than a point per game; recorded six game-winning goals; participated in the 2008 AJHL All-Star Game and was voted to the 2008 AJHL All-League Team; garnered several Lloydminster team awards, including MVP, Top Scorer, Most Dedicated, Community Service and Outstanding Offensive Player; was a member of the British Columbia Hockey League's Victoria Grizzlies in 2007-08 when he was a teammate of Nanook forward Kevin Petovello; scored 13 goals and 30 points in 60 appearances; prior to joining the Grizzlies, Meyers was the captain of the Prince Albert Minots (2005-06) of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League, when he notched 15 goals and 28 assists for 43 points with 22 penalty minutes in 41 games; in 2004-05 he totaled 11 goals and 27 assists for 38 points with 26 penalty minutes in 44 games; Meyers played briefly for Melfort in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League both seasons; he played three games in 2004-05 and had one assist and scored a goal in his only game in 2005-06; his second season with the Minots was highlighted when he scored two goals, including the game winner, in triple overtime to win the Telus Cup Canadian National Midget Hockey Championship.

Personal: Son of Bev and Laurie Meyers; siblings are Loriann, Dan, Curtis, Tannis, and Cody; currently majoring in Arts and Sciences with a minor in Elementary Education.
