Biography

2012-2013 as a sophomore: Played 17 games...Scored his only goal on Dec. 7, 2012 against Bowling Green.

2011-2012 as a freshman: Redshirted his first season.

Prior to Alaska: Skated for three seasons with the Brockville Braves (CJHL)... As a 16-year-old rookie in 2008-09 he notched 11 points and 20 assists in 58 games... Nearly doubled his offensive output during his sophomore campaign with 28-29-57 totals through 61 games... Participated in the CJHL Top Prospects game in Winkler, MB and was selected as the Captain of Team CJHL at the Battle of Ontario in Pembroke... In 2010-11, recorded 22-36—58 in five fewer regular season games and scored five more goals and three assists in 10 playoff contests... Best career single-game performance was a five-assist night in a 6-0 shutout of Smith Falls... Garnered a spot on Team Canada East for the World Junior A Challenge, tallying a goal and an assist in his team’s 4-2 semi-final and silver medal win over Switzerland... Played for Team Robinson in the CCHL All-Star Game in January 2011.

Personal: Son of Lynn Grandmaison and Richard Dumond... Older brother Alexandre was a Nordic skier at Queen's University (Kingston, Ont.) and has competed as a skiing biathlete at the provincial, National and International levels... Enjoys playing guitar, hanging out with his teammates, shooting pucks and working out...
