Junior Hockey League (AJHL) and led the team offensively with 25 goals and 33 assists in 58 games...took home several of Fort McMurray[apos]s team awards, including Top Scorer, Most Defensive, Most Dedicated and Most Valuable Player...was also selected to the AJHL North Team All-Stars where he won the fastest skater competition...during the 2005-06 season with the Oil Barons combining 16 goals and 26 assists in 60 regular season games and six goals and 10 assists in 21 AJHL playoff games...was selected to participate in the AJHL North Prospects game, and was recognized by the Oil Barons with the Unsung Hero and Coaches Award...as a rookie in 2004-05, scored 10 goals and 14 assists in 55 contests...his career with the Oil Barons was highlighted by a four-assist performance in Game 7 of the first round of the AJHL playoffs during the 2005-06 season...prior to his Junior A hockey stint, Klassen prepped at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Wilcox, Saskatchewan, where he played hockey and rugby for four years...in 2004 Klassen was a team captain, the Most Dedicated Player award recipient and voted to the conference all-star team late in the season...a member of the Hounds rugby team, Klassen was a captain, an all-star, and the team MVP.
