Biography

2011-12 as a senior: Played in 36 games talling four points and 16 assists to finish with 20 points in his senior campaign...In the Oct. 14th 5-2 Nanook win over Mercyhurst, Finucci finished with three points,consisting of one goal and two assists...Only called for four penalties on the year, serving eight minutes...Recored 16 blocks...Finished collegiate career appearing in 122 games, recording 18 goals and 35 assists to finish with 53 points. 

2010-11 as a junior: Played in 34 games for the Nanooks; first two assists of the season were during the 5-2 win against Air Force Oct. 8; first goal of the season was in the 2-1 win against Colorado College Oct. 16; finished the season with 7 goals, 5 assists, and 2 game-winning goals; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.

2009-10 as a sophmore: Played in 37 games; earned first two assists of the season against Robert Morris on Oct. 16; scored first goal of the season and an assist against Bowling Green on Nov. 14; scored the only goal in the 1-3 loss against WMU and 1-2 loss against UNO; had 13 games with at least one point, five being multi-point games.

2008-09 as a freshman: Played in 17 games; goal and assist against LSSU on Nov. 28; first collegiate goal in a 4-0 win against USNTDP U-18 Sept. 27.

Prior to Alaska: Captured the British Columbia Hockey League's Brett Hull Award (as did former Nanook left wing Kyle Greentree) after posting a league-high 102 points in 60 games this season with the Burnaby Express, including 33 goals and 69 assists; eleven power-play goals and eight game winners; led the Express in playoff scoring, notching 11 points (five goals and six assists) in five postseason contests against the Victoria Grizzlies; named the BCHL Coastal Conference Most Valuable Player after an astounding 65-point jump from his 37-point output during the 2006-07 campaign; 2005-2006 managed 27 points in 52 games.

Personal: Son of Carlo and Esther Finucci; one brother Marco; named top scorer and MVP in soccer and a Burnaby baseball All-Star; trilingual, speaking English, Italian and Spanish fluently; currently majoring in Communication.
