2010: Finished the Alaska Nanook Cross Country Invitational 8K with a time of 31:14.4; recognized for Academic Honors by the Athletic Department.

Prior to Alaska: Four year member of the Richmond Hill HS XC team; awarded Most Improved in 2006; earned Captain title and Coach's Award his senior year.

Personal: Son of Marty and Beth Calkins; currently double majoring in Geological Engineering and Petroleum Engineering.
