At Arlington High School, Ethan was a WESCO Second Team All-League selection as a sophomore, WESCO First Team All-League as a junior and the WESCO league MVP as a senior. He was a Second Team All-Area as a junior and First Team All-Area selection as a senior. As a senior, he was also selected to the All-State team. He is tied for the most career points at Arlington High School with 1,205. He holds the record for the most three-pointers in a game, with nine, and holds the record for most points in a game, scoring 42.
