Jesse Brown enters his fourth year as the Associate Head Coach of the men's basketball program.
Brown joined Head Coach Greg Sparling at the beginning of the 2018-19 season and has been on the bench ever since. Prior to joining the Nanooks, Brown spent the 2016-18 campaigns with the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves as a Volunteer Assistant and full-time Assistant. Brown, who hails from Anchorage, spent the previous seven seasons coaching in the Northwest Athletic Conference. He spent two seasons as the Associate Head Coach at Green River Community College in Auburn, Wash. after spending 2007-08 and 2009-13 seasons as an assistant coach at his former junior college, Tacoma Community College in Tacoma, Wash.
Following his time as an assistant at TCC, Brown spent the 2013-14 season as the Interim Head Coach. During the 2008-09 season, Brown served as a Volunteer Assistant on the Alaska Anchorage women's basketball team.
He graduated from UAA in 2009 with a B.A. History before adding a Master's Degree in Human Performance with a coaching emphasis in 2016 from Adams State University.
