As a sophomore, Cade Neilson skated in 31 games and posted a career-high 19 points on five goals and 14 assists ... He took 52 shots-on-goal and posted a .096 shot percentage ... Neilson played three seasons with the Aberdeen Wings in the NAHL. In his time, he skated in 159 career games, scoring 47 goals and assisting on 100 for 147 points. This total is the All-Time Scoring Record for the Aberdeen Wings. In his first season he played in 46 games, scoring nine goals and assisting on 18 for 27 points. In his second season, he skated in 55 games, scoring 12 goals and tallying 33 assists for 45 points. He also saw time in 11 postseason games, picking up seven points, all on assists. In his third and final year, he wore the 'A' and skated in 58 games. That season, he scored 75 points on 26 goals and 49 assists. He played in three playoff games, scoring three points on one goal and two assists. Neilson was a 2021-22 NAHL All-Central Division Team selection and the November 2021 NAHL Forward of the Month.Â
Great Britain
Neilson represented Great Britain at the 2022 IIHF World Championships in Finland. In seven games, he posted two goals and three assists for five points, leading Great Britain in scoring.Â
