2011 as a senior: Played in 66 sets, making 11 starts...Fifth on the team in kills (137) and fourth in kills per set (2.08)...Five matches with double-digit kills, including four of the five final matches...career-best five blocks at Chaminade (8/26/11).

2010 as a junior: Played in 75 sets...Second on the team in kills (172) and kills per set (2.29)...had a standout performance in a five set thriller against Northwest Nazarene on Oct. 7 where she set career highs in kills, attempts, and digs.

2009 as a sophomore: Missed season due to injury.

2008 as a freshman: 5th on team in kills per game (1.36)...recorded season high of 9 kills and a .368 hitting percentage against WWU on Nov. 13...recorded 8 out of 16 kills with only three errors to hit a .312 hitting percentage, 10 digs, and 3 blocks at SMU on Oct. 4...recorded eight kills in a win against St. Cloud State on Sept.5...earned the 2008 Team Unsung Hero Award along with classmate Marybeth Wikander.

Prior to Alaska: Two-time captain and three-time Most Valuable Player for the Buffaloes volleyball team, which finished the 2007 season with a 14-10 Class 3A record and 6-5 mark in the Metropolitan Conference...as a senior at BMCHS, Chavous garnered Metro League first team honors and received honorable mention for the Colorado All-State team...Metro League second team selection as a junior...member of Juggernaut Volleyball Club...played for the Under-18 team that took 13th place at the AAU Girls' Junior National Volleyball Championship (18 Open Division) in the summer of 2007. 

Personal: Daughter of Tim and Barbara Chavous...one brother, Christopher...majoring in Business Management.
