2011-12 as a freshman: Appeared in all 28 games coming off the bench...Averaged 4.9 points and 3.2 rebounds per game...Double-figure scoring in four games, including a career-high 13 points vs. Northwest Nazarene (12/29/11)...Brought down a career-best nine rebound a Hawaii-Hilo (11/26/11)...Had five thefts at Hawaii Pacific (11/24/11).

Prior to Alaska: 5-year member of the St. Bedes Inter-Church basketball team; during his time on the team, Shaw was selected as a Team Captain as well as Team MVP; also played football (soccer) and rugby; 2-year member of the basketball team at Moulton College where he helped the team finishe 2nd in the Midlands Conference in 2007-08 and the team claimed the British Colleges Championship in 2008-09, where Shaw was named MVP for the final game; best-outing for Moulton landed him 26 points, 18 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 blocks. 

Personal: Son of Rodney and Helen Shaw; a native of England; currently majoring in Civil Engineering.
