FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Nanooks rifle team competed at the 2026 PRC Championships this weekend at the X Count in Fort Wayne, Indiana. On Saturday, the Nanooks shot the smallbore discipline before shooting air rifle on Sunday. They placed fourth at the 2026 PRC Championships with an aggregate score of 4719.

Tobias Bernhoft-Osa opened the PRC Championships up with a Friday smallbore appearance. He shot a 578-22x, good for 30th. On Saturday, the rest of the Nanooks roster shot and were led by
Marshall Schmidt. He shot a 585-33x and took 13th.
Lucie Kissenberger followed in 14th place with a 585-33x, and
Teagan Perkowski placed 15th with his own 585-33x.
Amanda Pettersen posted a 21st-place finish with a Saturday score of 583-29x and
Noah Meierotto was the final Saturday shooter, placing 23rd with a 581-30x.
The Nanooks placed fourth in smallbore on day one, shooting a 2338. Nebraska claimed the smallbore PRC title with a 2364. TCU took second with a 2361, and Ole Miss placed third with a 2357.

On Sunday, the Nanooks competed for the air rifle title.
Lucie Kissenberger joined Bernhoft-Osa on Friday. Kissenberger fired a 595-44x, good for 19th. On Sunday, the rest of the team shot air rifle and were led by
Teagan Perkowski. Perkowski shot the fifth-best score with a 598-55x.
Tobias Bernhoft-Osa followed in 18th with a 595-49x. Kissenberger was in 19th, and
Amanda Pettersen shot a 594-49x to take 21st.
Marshall Schmidt and
Noah Meierotto were the final Nanooks in air rifle. Schmidt took 25th with a 594-46x and Meierotto shot a 594-38x for 27th place.
Alaska finished fifth in the air rifle standings with a 2381. Nebraska took first with a 2394, Ole Miss took second with a 2388, UTEP took third with a 2386, TCU took fourth with a 2384 and Alaska followed in fifth. Behind the Nanooks was Air Force with a 2376 and Ohio State with a 2358.

Coach Loudin's Thoughts
"Leading up to the weekend, there was a quick change with the cancellation due to weather at Ole Miss. The X Count hosted a great match, and we were happy to be back in Fort Wayne. Over the last month, we have made some big gains as a team with the confidence and systems we are building into our routines. This weekend tested those systems and also highlighted our biggest areas for growth as we head into NCAA Qualifiers in two weeks. I'm proud of the work the team has put in so far, and after the challenges we faced this weekend, we have a strong basis and clear direction as we finish out the year. We are also very happy with Teagan's performance today. He had a challenging but successful match, and his finals performance really put a cap on the weekend. We look forward to getting back to Fairbanks and getting back to work as we prepare for the weeks ahead."
Teagan Perkowski led the Nanooks this weekend with an 1183-82x aggregate score. Following him was
Lucie Kissenberger with an 1180-77x.
Marshall Schmidt followed with an 1179-79x performance in his first PRC Championships.
Amanda Pettersen posted an 1177-78x,
Noah Meierotto wrapped up her first confernce championships with an 1175-68x and
Tobias Bernhoft-Osa shot an 1173-71x to round out the Nanooks performance.
