Meet the Opponents
#21 Central Washington Wildcats (11-4, 7-2 GNAC)
Head Coach:
Lauren Herseth
The Wildcats come into Fairbanks riding a seven-match winning streak and 21-set winning streak. They have swept their way through conference play since Sept. 17, including a sweep of the Nanooks in Ellensburg on Sept. 19. This run also comes after winning just one set in their GNAC openers, losing to SFU 3-1 and being swept by WWU. The Nanooks look to play spoilers as they open the second half of GNAC play on Thursday.

Northwest Nazarene (10-6, 4-5 GNAC)
Head Coach:
Doug English
Northwest Nazarene comes to Alaska on a one-match losing streak. They are just ahead of the Nanooks in the GNAC standings with a 4-5 GNAC record. After falling to the Nanooks on Sept. 17 in five sets, NNU went on a three-match winning streak. After that streak, they went 1-2, falling to Seattle Pacific in five sets, beating Montana State Billings in straight sets before falling to CWU in three. They open up against UAA on Thursday before coming to Fairbanks on Saturday.
