Nordic Skiing Adds Victoria Myers out of St. Scholastica

FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Nanooks Nordic skiing team has announced the addition of Victoria Myers out of the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn., where she spent the 2024-25 season skiing for the Saints.

"Tori is an incredibly hard worker with a can-do attitude," said assistant coach Ben Buck on the addition. "We look forward to seeing her development over the coming years!"

Myers is an incoming sophomore who, during her one season with the St. Scholastica Saints, appeared in 10 races. She took 28th in the 10k freestyle at the 2025 Mayor's XC Ski Challenge on Jan. 26 and 30th in the 7.5k classic at the CCSA Championships on Feb. 16, 2025. She earned a top-20 result in Junior Nationals last year after qualifying in 2022. Myers has also medaled at the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 Wisconsin Nordic state championships.

Myers will also be competing with the Alaska cross country team for the upcoming season. She is the daughter of Jason and Taneal Myers and has one sibling, Dakota. She intends to study Wildlife Biology and Conservation at Alaska.
