Last Time Out
The Nanooks hosted Air Force last weekend, taking the win in both matches by 4736-4718 on Saturday and 4756-4736 on Sunday. On day one, Cecelia Ossi grabbed the top spot in the individual standings, shooting a day-high of 1186. Elli Spencer followed in second with an aggregate score of 1185. Sára Karasová followed in fourth with an aggregate of 1182; she was the final Nanooks athlete in the top five. Lucie Kissenberger and Rachael Charles took sixth and seventh, respectively with a pair of 1179s. Teagan Perkowski and Matthew Stout rounded out the top-10 finishes with their own 1179 aggregate scores. On day two, six Nanooks placed in the individual top 10 and four in the top five. Ossi once again took the top spot, posting an aggregate score of 1192. Spencer followed in second with an aggregate of 1187. Charles and Karasová also fired scores of 1187, taking third and fourth, respectively. Kissenberger took sixth, shooting an aggregate of 1185 and Amanda Pettersen was the final Nanooks shooter in the top 10, posting a score of 1184.

Top 10 Average
Ossi ranks in the top 10 for aggregate averages this season, firing an average score of 1184.889. Karasová sits just outside the top 10 in 11th place with an aggregate average of 1184.428.
Air Leaders
After her perfect score from last Sunday, Spencer leads the Nanooks in air rifle average this season with a 596.778. That mark puts her fifth in the nation. Karasová (595.857), Charles (595.778), Kissenberger (595.556) and Ossi (595.556) follow.
Smallbore Leaders
Ossi and Karasová both rank in the top 10 in the nation for smallbore averages this season. Ossi sits in eighth with an average score of 589.333, and Karasová follows in 10th with an average of 588.571.
Senior Weekend
The Nanooks will honor Sára Karasová, Rachael Charles and Cecelia Ossi this weekend for their senior weekend. Come celebrate our seniors in their final matches in Fairbanks.
What's to Come
The Nanooks head to Ohio State on Feb. 6 in preparation for the PRC Championships in Fort Wayne, Ind. on Feb. 7-8. Alaska will then shoot their NCAA Qualifier at UTEP on Feb. 22 before heading to the NCAA Championships on March 14-15 in Lexington, Ken.
