The middle blocker joins the Nanooks after two seasons with the Division I Bulldogs in the Southern Conference (SoCon).

FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Nanooks volleyball team has announced the signing of Peri Hoshock, a transfer from The Citadel.

"We feel very fortunate to have Peri join our program." Head coach Brian Scott said after Hoshock's commitment, "Peri is a very talented middle blocker that moves very well along the net and will be a great threat both blocking and attacking. We are looking forward to what she can do and how she can make Nanooks volleyball better."

Hoshock hails from Lake Stevens, Wash., and before attending The Citadel, was a four-year letter winner for the Vikings volleyball team at Lake Stevens High School. As a junior, she was tabbed a Second Team All-State selection while leading the WESCO in kills and blocks. She had 78 blocks and a .329 hit percentage.
